Electrical power system is revolutionizing over decades into a highly interconnected, large, and complex system which is challenging the conventional approaches of performing power system analysis. The computational latency of current analytical tools has left system planners and operators behind the system state created by events that lead to costly solutions, cascading outages, and/or system collapse. This seminar will share the computation requirements and gaps of power system analysis from power industry and discuss the innovative computing technologies to fulfil the gap. The cutting-edge graph parallel computation technologies on power system steady-state analysis and dynamic simulation will be presented in the seminar.

主讲人简介

戴仁昶,博士,Puget Sound Energy咨询级分析师,负责碳中和路径实现。戴仁昶博士分别于1995年和1998年毕业于BETVLCTOR伟德官方网站,获学士和硕士学位,2001年获得清华大学博士学位。曾任Amdocs售前技术总监、常务副总经理,爱荷华州立大学研究员,通用电气主管,国家电网公司美国研究院首席工程师、图计算和电网现代化研究经理。发表期刊和会议论文100余篇,授权和受理美国专利10余项,主持美国能源部项目、美国自然科学基金项目和国家电网公司科技项目10余项,研究总经费超过2000万美元。戴仁昶博士现为IEEE高级会员,曾担任多个国际学术期刊编委和评委。
